· We are the premier Little League in San Antonio, with a rich history of tournament-play success. 2023 OFFICIALLY marks our 70th YEAR of Success!
· NSLL volunteers focus on building character as well as skill on the field of play
How can my child be eligible to play at NSLL?
· There are 3 options for eligibility:
1. Live within our league boundary
2. Attend Little League-approved schools (not daycares) within our league boundary
3. Have a Little League district-approved IId form
· There are no exceptions to these Little League-regulated requirements

When does the season start?
· Spring Season:
· Registration – December 1st – February 9th (Waitlist after 2/9/2023)
· Season: Approximately Feb-May
· Fall Season:
· Registration - Approximately Aug-Sept
· Season: Approximately Sept-Nov
· DURING FALL, WE PLAY UP TO THE NEXT SPRING'S AGE CALENDAR
How are teams established?
· All divisions of baseball/softball above Tee ball will conduct mandatory evaluations
· All players will be drafted to teams based on their skill & age

Volunteers
· PLEASE RAISE YOUR HAND TO VOLUNTEER THROUGH THE REGISTRATION PROCESS
· This is a volunteer-run league
· This league has been built on the love, passion, & sacrifices of 1000’s volunteers
· Board Members do not get paid
· Coaches do not get paid
· If you see an opportunity to help the league run better, raise your hand & get involved
Evaluations
· Everyone makes a team
· General skill assessment for managers to draft balanced teams
· Infield, Outfield, Hit, Pitch & Catch (if applicable by division)
· Times may vary by divisions (will be announced)
Team Assignment
· Everyone makes a team
· Managers will reach out to parents when teams are drafted
· Siblings in the same division will be placed on the same team
· Coach & friend requests are only honored at the Tee Ball division (best effort)
Equipment
· The league will provide a Jersey & hat per player
· Additional uniform costs (printing & embroidery) at the discretion of the team/parent
· Pants, socks, belts, protectors, etc. are at the cost of the family
· The minimum equipment per division is a glove and helmet
· Balls will be provided by the league through the manager for use in games
· No bats, catcher equipment, or additional equipment will be provided by the league
Practices
· Each team will be assigned a pre-season field practice.
· Once the season starts, practices are at the discretion of the manager/head coach.
· NSLL does not require any minimum practice schedule for our teams.
· Practice fields during the season are available for rent through sponsorship (discuss w/team manager)
· Additional facility/equipment fees incurred are at the expense of the team, not the league.
Games
· We play games M, T, W, Th, and F (No Sunday Games)
· Game schedules will be provided through the team manager
· The number of games will vary by division
· The format & time limit of games will vary by division
· Most divisions will play at Northside Suburban Little League Complex
· Some divisions will play inter-league with neighboring Little Leagues
